Welcome to the official website of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Beta Iota Zeta (BIZ) chapter. Chartered on April 23rd, 1994 at the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc’s Great Lakes Regional Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Our chapter is located in the twin cities of Bloomington, Illinois and Normal, Illinois. Our devotion to serving the community while displaying the qualities one would find in a Finer Woman is deeply important to us.

SCHOLARSHIP
By supporting the higher education goals of the youth and young adults in our community, we promote the Zeta ideal of Scholarship.
Each year Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Beta Iota Zeta Chapter awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors, single parents attending college, and children of Beta Iota Zeta members.
SERVICE
Since the sorority’s inception in 1920, Zetas have always strived to help others excel. In 2000, this effort was redefined with the Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) Initiative. Z-HOPE focuses its efforts within five major populations: women, youth, seniors, men and international women and designed to address the whole person via a holistic framework that focuses on the three key elements of life: body, mind, and spirit.
SISTERHOOD
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. encourages young women to learn and grow in the spirit of sisterly love and friendship; during college years and beyond. We believe sisterhood is a vital aspect of our growth as women. The bond shared with like-minded women empowers personal growth and enables us to equip other young girls with the tools to make an impact in their local communities and beyond.
FINER WOMANHOOD
Finer Womanhood is defined as having distinguishing characteristics of a woman, one superior in kind, quality, or appearance; marked by or affecting elegance or refinement.
The members of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Beta Iota Zeta chapter operate at all times in a way to demonstrate to others the qualities of a Finer Woman.
