SERVICE

Serving our Community

Since the sorority’s inception in 1920, Zetas have always strived to help others excel. In 2000, this effort was redefined with the Z-HOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) Initiative. Z-HOPE focuses its efforts within five major populations: women, youth, seniors, men and international women and designed to address the whole person via a holistic framework that focuses on the three key elements of life: body, mind, and spirit.

Implementing these programs locally have provided our membership the opportunity to raise funds for March of Dimes, work with our local senior care facilities to provide cards and letters to residents, and present programs to raise awareness around domestic violence and mental health.

Adopt a Street

Beta Iota Zeta Chapter also supports the Bloomington Adopt as Street program by adopting the streets of East Emersen St between N Main St Fell Ave and Franklin Ave between East Kelsey St and East Beecher St.
